1 year Australia, 1 year Asia, 3 months South America, 3 months Africa and 1 month USA. Except for Antarctica, I have travelled through all continents in 5 years and made a lifelong dream come true. And I became another person.

I was always looking for the extreme, the adventure. After a while, I realized that living together with the locals was a thrilling experience, over and over again. The intensive life in other cultures (and i’m not talking about the hotel room here) opens your own horizon immensely. You see how other people live together, get to know how they see the world and their ideas about life.

When you travel, you will get to know many people and experience a lot of stories of peoples life. You see a lot of jobs people are working in and destinies. There is one thing almost everyone has in common: They are not happy with their job. No matter where you are in the world, most people are employees and work for their boss or the government. “I am finally on vacation” or “I hope to get a raise next year” are things that I heard over and over again.

It’s really a shame that so many people are unhappy in their job. A job or a profession? Since my trips around the world, I want to open peoples horizon and encourage them to find their passion and pursue it. Do what you love is easier said than done at first sight. It takes a lot of thinking, courage, faith in yourself and the determination, to change something in your life.
